Mitti House ("we", "us") operates mitti.house. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and how we protect it. By using our site you agree to these practices.
What we collect
- Order information — name, email, phone number, delivery address, and payment references (we never store full card numbers).
- Usage data — browser type, pages visited, referring URL, via server logs and Cloudflare analytics. No cross-site tracking cookies.
- Communications — messages you send to care@mitti.house.
How we use your data
- To fulfil and deliver your order and send shipping updates.
- To send order confirmation emails. We do not send marketing email unless you opt in.
- To verify identity for Cash on Delivery orders via OTP.
- To comply with applicable laws including the Indian IT Act 2000.
Data sharing
We share your data only with service providers needed to run the business:
- Razorpay — payment processing. Subject to Razorpay's privacy policy.
- Delhivery — shipping and logistics. Your name, phone and address are shared for delivery.
- Fast2SMS / Resend — OTP and transactional email delivery.
- Supabase / Cloudflare — database and CDN infrastructure.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing.
Data retention
Order records are retained for 7 years for accounting compliance. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by writing to care@mitti.house; orders already fulfilled cannot be deleted due to legal requirements.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing care@mitti.house. We respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie to power your cart and checkout. No third-party advertising or tracking cookies are set.
